A multidisciplinary strategist for nonprofit organizations, I spent nearly 20 years working as a business journalist and in nonprofit marketing & communications in New York City.
In 2024, I moved to Los Angeles, where I continue to work within the nonprofit sector, now with a focus on program coordination and operations. Most recently, I served as the Program Coordinator for the Los Angeles Unhoused Response Academy, an innovative training program funded by the United Way of Greater LA, for people who want to start a career in frontline work within homeless services. I am also regularly volunteering with SELAH Neighborhood Homeless Coalition, Jewish Family Service’s SOVA Food Pantry in West Hollywood, and Michelson Found Animal’s Better Neighbor Project.
With a passion for serving others, I have experience working on staff, volunteering, and serving on boards and leadership councils. Over the years, I have honed my skills in project management, program coordination, community support services, content creation, editing, digital and social media, and traditional marketing tactics.
Currently, I am open to freelance work, including contract or part-time roles within nonprofit and community service organizations, as well as freelance writing gigs. Please email me at KimberlyMaulGreen at gmail dot com if you would like to connect about a possible opportunity.
