At this new community resource center, I provide support to our unhoused neighbors by operating hygiene facilities, serving meals, and staffing a clothing boutique. Our team not only ensures high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest experience, but also provides a welcoming environment for everyone coming through our gates.
Safe Place for Youth (SPY)
Site Associate (On Call) September 2025 – Present
I provide support to residents at SPY’s housing sites, which accommodate transition-aged youth experiencing a housing crisis. Responsibilities include monitoring the site, connecting with youth, reporting daily updates, and more.
Los Angeles Unhoused Response Academy (LAURA)
Program Coordinator (Contract), March – October 2025
As Program Coordinator for the second LAURA Fellowship cohort (March-April 2025) and a two-day program for employees at the Los Angeles Public Library (October 2025), my responsibilities included overseeing all in-person logistics; communicating with partners, presenters, and fellows; leading site visits to organizations in Skid Row; and managing a communications strategy.
SELAH Neighborhood Homeless Coalition
Volunteer & Site Lead in Hollywood, July 2024 – present
SELAH manages drop-in and outreach programs to support our unhoused neighbors across several neighborhoods in Los Angeles. Starting in February 2025 as a Site Lead for the Hollywood location, I oversee a team of 15 volunteers providing food, hospitality, and support to program participants; set up and manage the drop-in program site; coordinate the collection and distribution of food, clothing, and hygiene items on site and in outreach; serve as a liaison between SELAH and our location partners; provide event recaps and data to the SELAH staff; and help build community as a team.
Additional volunteer work serving marginalized communities in Los Angeles: Jewish Family Service’s SOVA Food Pantry (monthly), Better Angels Resource Days (quarterly), and Better Neighbor Project from the Michelson Found Animals Foundation (quarterly).
